Initiate asset scan for a single device from Asset Center?

Hello OTbase community,
I have a question about asset probing. If you have made a change to an asset and want to scan this asset directly, you must then log into OTbase Discovery and start probing.
Would it be conceivable that an end user who does not have access to OTbase Discovery initiates the probing and import via the Asset Center? Then only for this single device?
I've heard this question a few times from my end users.

What do you think? Does it help or is it technically possible?

  Asset Center never connects to Discovery nodes. This is an important feature for our security architecture in order to prevent cyber attacks as we have seen it with the SolarWinds disaster. So having Asset Center initiate a probe is not a viable option.

  Thanks for the comment. Good to know that this is a security feature to protect the Discovery Nodes.
  So we have to let several users access the discovery nodes. At least for the rollout in all production networks.
