Setting idle time for auto-logout

OTbase Inventory uses an inactivity timer to automatically close a session after a period of user inactivity. By default, the inactivity timer is set to 20 minutes. The timer can be set both globally and individually.

Changing the global inactivity timer

In order to change the global inactivity timer, log on as system administrator and go to MAINTENANCE in the main menu. In the Logout Timeout section, input the desired value in minutes and click Save.

Changing the inactivity timer for individual users

You can set individual inactivity timers in the user management by selecting an account, clicking on Edit, and then specifying the desired value for the Logout timeout field:
