System maintenance

From the MAINTENANCE page, you can perform several system related maintenance tasks. These tasks are listed below.

Install a patch

When we issue patches for OTbase Inventory they may contain bug fixes or extended functionality. You can install these patches from the Patch tab of the MAINTENANCE page . The list in the lower part of the window lists all the patches you have installed prior for the present Inventory product version. Note that if you update to a new Inventory product version, the patch list will be cleared.

Perform database cleanup

The Database tab allows you to cleanup various parts of the database, mainly to remove stale entries.

Initiate a backup or restore

The Backup tab lets you manually backup and restore the database. This process is explained in a separate chapter.

View server statistics

The System Info tab displays various system parameters that allow you to assess server health.

Review license information

The License tab lets you install a license file, and also track license usage.
