How do I configure TwinCAT ADS?

This protocol communicates with TwinCAT using ADS to gather information for connected devices.
Currently only EtherCAT devices via TwinCAT are supported.

Enable TwinCAT in Asset Discovery

In order to use this protocol, you have to install the TwinCAT AMS Router (e.g. by installing TwinCAT).

After installing TwinCAT AMS Router, you will need so set up routes to the targets (the TwinCAT servers)
Select TwinCAT icon in the symbol bar and select Router, Edit routes.

Configure routes to all targets (they must be in the same local network as the Asset Discovery):

You may have to restart the OTbase Asset Discovery service for it to recognize that you have installed the TwinCAT AMS Router.
