Introduction to User Onboarding

After completing the preceding steps, you are ready to onboard users. The idea is to have everything in place so that users who haven't spent a lot of time thinking about OT asset management and OTbase can have a productive user experience.

The major requirements for this to happen is that your OT asset inventory is already populated to some extent, you have created useful metadata (see data enrichment), and your access control is set up properly.

The major steps for onboarding users now are

• Prepare a couple of saved views and reports for your users
• Explain how they can customize their user experience
• Give them a general introduction to OTbase.
