OTbase Mobile Discovery

After executing OTbase Mobile Discovery (usually from a USB stick) you will be prompted with the configuration window:

Here you can make any necessary adjustments, particularly setting the location ID for the computer and the networks. When you are done with your edits click the Probe button.

You will then see a new window that displays the progress of the discovery operation.

Once that the computer is fully discovered (usually after a couple of seconds), you will see discovery results exposed in a new window:

The data that is shown is identical to what you see in OTbase Discovery Agent, without the data flow. Since OTbase Mobile Discovery is a one-shot operation, it cannot collect data flow over time.

When you see the final results screen, asset information is also automatically saved on the medium where you launched Mobile Discovery, ready to upload to OTbase Inventory.
