Asset import logs

OTbase automatically keeps track of your import operations and creates a log. This allows you to inspect the import operation and spot potential conflicts.

In order to access log entries, select the import operation you want to inspect and click the "Log" button.

In the pop-up window that opens, you can inspect details of the respective import operation. You can see which devices have been added (relative to a previous import from this Discovery node), which devices have been changed, devices that have been skipped, and unchanged devices.

As with all OTbase profiles, hyperlinks in the display allow you to directly open other profiles with additional information.

Asset import logs are created both for manual and automatic imports.

For assets that have been imported as Portable Inventory Data (JSON), a separate log is maintained in the respective tab.
