Introduction

The OTbase Asset Lookup Chrome Extension allows you to check for asset information in OTbase Inventory from any web site rather quickly, without having to use copy and paste.

Asset Lookup will automatically highlight CVE identifiers and Siemens product codes on web sites that you are browsing with an OTbase icon. (Note that CVEs are not limited to Siemens products.) When you click on the OTbase icon, a new browser window pops up that shows information related to the CVE or product code in OTbase Inventory.

Additionally, you can select any text on any web site and then use that text for a search in OTbase Inventory, without copy & paste. After selecting a search term, launch the context menu with right-click and click on "Search in OTbase".
