Configuring Short Code Length (Optional)

Find the Configure Short Code Length (Optional) Section. By default, the system uses 3 characters for the ISA Model short code. If your needs require more than 3 characters this can be updated by performing the following steps, otherwise, click .

If you wish to make changes, click on the left.

Find the Configure the Short Code Character Length (Optional) section, Click and then . You’ll need to switch your application scope first.

Change value field to the desired max character length for the ISA equipment short code and click  .

From here, you may mark the Configure Short Code Character Length (Optional) step as complete.

Finally, go back to the OTbase Integration for CMDB page so that we can set an import schedule in the next step.
