Monitor resolution
Asset Center assumes a minimum monitor resolution of 1920 x 1080, also called High Definition or HD.
Note: that you may find it convenient to use an extra wide monitor, as OTbase Inventory allows you to view a lot of information at once, and side-by-side.
System resources
If you intend to take advantage of the various interactive diagrams in OTbase Inventory , most notably the network topology and data flow diagrams, it is recommended to use a system with at least a quad core CPU and 8 Gigabytes of RAM -- particularly if you want to process complex diagrams with hundreds of nodes. If you don't use interactive diagrams, resources can be much lower.
Supported Web browsers
OTbase Inventory uses HTML5 which is fully supported among all modern browsers. We understand that some users are running legacy operating systems such as Windows 7 and issues with Microsoft Internet Explorer are on the record. If you experience display problems in the way that some page details don't show as in the screenshots that you see in the documentation, or if you get a warning during page load that a script takes too long to execute, browser problems are the most likely cause on legacy operating systems.
If in doubt, check if switching to Google Chrome solves any display problems. Experience shows that other browsers using the Chromium engine, such as Microsoft Edge, work as well.
